Open Prayer times, go to Calculation and iqama, and under Friday prayer use Add a time for up to four times. Save. They show on your screen and your mosque's page, earliest first, and with internet the screen usually picks them up at once.
Whether and how to hold more than one Friday prayer is for your scholars. We give no ruling.
How it behaves
- The Friday row shows all your times, on other days too.
- The countdown runs to each Friday time in turn.
- The first time is Dhuhr's iqama on Fridays. If it falls before the adhan, the adhan time is used.
- They are clock times, the same when the clocks change, and one set for all Fridays. Check the first one still suits the adhan in summer and winter.
- Dark during prayer starts at each Friday time, and always ends by the next one.
Say what the time means
The screen has one time per session. It doesn't separate khutbah from iqama, so tell people which it is.
Not there yet
- No label per session, such as "first" or a language.
- No khateeb name field.
- No different times per screen.
